ADR

After putting my film together roughly, I made note of all the bits of audio I needed to re-record (or things I hadn't recorded in the first place). Once this was all down, I got Gideon (my actor) back for some ADR. I found this to be a far less stressful experience than filming, as it was more laid back and low stakes, allowing Gideon to read the lines as opposed to memorise them. As ADR was far less time consuming, it allowed me the opportunity for many more takes, and Gideon felt more comfortable to improvise. It was fun trying lots of different approaches to the sound, for example making Gideon actually eat bread when doing ADR for the scene where Henry is talking with his mouth full.
